Mubasher: Jordan reported 7.2% year-on-year decrease in trade deficit in the first seven months of 2016, according to a report issued by the Jordanian Department of Statistics on Tuesday.
A Trade deficit is the amount by which the cost of a country's imports exceeds the value of its exports.
According to the report the trade deficit during that period reached JOD 4.84 billion, as national exports declined 9.3% despite a 7.3% retreat in imports.
